TAKEAWAYS FROM CHALLENGE THE FABRIC (CTF) 2023

The third annual Challenge the Fabric (CTF) took place on Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th of May 2023, at Centro Congressi Fondazione Cariplo in Milan.  

With a focus on sustainability, transparency, and material innovation, CTF 2023 hosted six inspiring keynotes and four panel discussions, exploring themes such as the immense potential of green textiles and innovative materials, sustainable forestry, new technologies, legislation and eco-friendly regulations, and the importance of cross-sector collaboration. 

The initiative offered a unique opportunity for the entire supply chain involved in man-made cellulosic fibers (MMCF) to come together, collaborate, and drive positive change, inviting industry leaders and stakeholders from the fashion, textile, and forest sectors.

A notable addition to this year's event was an exhibition space, reinforcing awareness about textile developments and highlighting game-changing material innovations from sustain-tech companies including Altri, Birla, Södra OnceMore®, Re:newcell and TreeToTextile.
