Textile & Fashion 2030 is the national platform that accelerates change towards a sustainable textile and fashion industry.

The Government of Sweden has mandated the University of Borås to establish and lead the Textile & Fashion 2030 national platform. The five-year project is hosted by Smart Textiles, a part of the university’s Science Park Borås, in collaboration with Swedish Fashion Council, The Swedish School of Textiles, and RISE Research Institutes of Sweden.

With a global vision, the Textile & Fashion 2030 national platform aims to accelerate the achievement of the United Nations’ 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. The national platform creates awareness, drives activities, educates, and supports the industry and its stakeholders on their journeys towards meeting national environmental targets and creating circular textile and fashion systems.

Sweden unites for a sustainable textile and fashion future – join us!
